Here’s my Oscar predictions for Sunday night. Before you use this to fill in your office pool ballot, know that, historically, I have been embarrassingly wrong. But this year, I’m putting all personal prefs. aside and making straight-up predictions.

There have never been surer bets than this year’s two top acting awards. Bet the farm. And Mad Max: Fury Road will sweep all the technical and design awards.

Here’s the full list:

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS

Who will win: Alicia Vikander, The Danish Girl. Certainty: 95%. If not her, it’ll be: Rachel McAdams, Spotlight. (Who I would give it to: Vikander. For this and for Ex Machina.)

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR

Who will win: Sylvester Stallone, Creed. Certainty: 75%. If not him, it’ll be: Mark Rylance, Bridge of Spies. (Who I would give it to: Tom Hardy, The Revenant. Way better than Leo.)

BEST ACTRESS

Who will win: Brie Larson, Room. Certainty: 100%. No second choice. It’s a lock. (Who I would give it to: Larson.)

BEST ACTOR

Who will win: Leonardo DiCaprio, The Revenant. Certainty: 100%. No second choice. Another lock. (Who I would give it to: Eddie Redmayne, The Danish Girl. I know he won last year and Leo never has, but best is best.)

BEST DIRECTOR

Who will win: Alejandro Inarritu, The Revenant. Certainty: 80%. If not him, it’ll be: George Miller, Mad Max: Fury Road. (Who I would give it to: Lenny Abrahamson, Room. You try directing a 5-year-old.)

BEST PICTURE

Which will win: The Revenant. Certainty: 70%. If not, it’ll be: Spotlight. (I would give it to: Room. It’s like three films in one—all of them amazing.)
